WHAT WE OFFER

• Casual Role: DIDO outage working at Bayswater Power Station, Major outage in Muswellbrook, NSW, with potential for other project/shutdown work
• Start Dates: Staggered start dates starting ASAP, approximately duration until late November
• Shutdown Roster: Monday to Saturday roster – days 7am-6pm & nights 7pm-6am 
• Competitive Rates:  EBA rates + OT Penalties (from base rate) + site allowances + uplift allowance
• Other Benefits: DIDO project, LAFHA or Accommodation + meal allowance provided to distant workers

THE OPPORTUNITY

Downer Energy & Utilities is seeking experienced and safety-focused Riggers to join our team at Bayswater Power Station in the Upper Hunter Region, NSW.

Working within a high-performing maintenance team, you'll play a critical role in supporting outage and maintenance activities by safely executing rigging and lifting operations across the site. From preparing and securing loads to coordinating complex lifts and working closely with multiple trades, you'll help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This is an excellent opportunity to secure work on a major power generation asset while being part of a company that values safety, teamwork, and professional growth.

ABOUT YOU 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• High Risk Work Licence with Rigging (Intermediate or Advanced) qualification
• Current Enter and work in confined spaces, Working at heights (within 3 years), & Construction white card
• Previous experience working within power generation, industrial, mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry environments
• Current Drivers Licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and site requirements
