About The Role

The Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver is a Full-time position, based at Garbutt Townsville, QLD. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre, and you will be delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.

In This Role You Will

Provide exceptional customer service for all our customersTo assist in the day-to-day activities within the storeStock movements and the maintenance of stockLoading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirementsUnloading inbound orders of stockServing customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered toWarehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping

Your standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 3:00pm, totalling a 38-hour week. Any additional hours worked beyond 38 will be paid at overtime rates (including Saturdays). There may also be up to one hour of overtime per day, as required.

About You

Current forklift license with sufficient experienceAbility to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationshipsContribute to a constructive and innovative workplace culture
