Accounts Payable / Receivable Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable / Receivable Payroll Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. Managing accounts payable/receivable for Suppliers and customers as well as managing payroll functions and ensuring leave is processed accurately. This role is flexible start and finish time, with hours from 30-35 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Timesheet Reconciliation and payroll Management
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Preparation of reporting of BAS and monthly IAS to the ATO (preferred not essential)
• Preparation of reporting of Payroll Tax (preferred not essential)
• Preparation of reporting of Superannuation Payments (preferred not essential)
• Bank Reconciliation
• Assist with monthly and quarterly cash flow forecasting
• Maintaining databases
• Assist with financial reporting

About you

• 5 years' experience in similar role
• Familiar with Frameworks Program or similar accounting software or similar such as MYOB, QuickBooks or SAP
• Strong business and finance administration knowledge
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office
• Highly organised self-starter and possess effective time management skills
