Sales Manager WA

Elson Australasia is looking for a driven Sales Hunter to join our team as Sales Manager – Western Australia.

This is a new, autonomous position based in Perth, reporting directly to the National Sales Manager.

The role combines managing an established merchant base with a strong focus on hunting for new business and driving sales growth across Western Australia.

You will be responsible for developing merchant accounts, winning new business with plumbing contractors.

The role requires regular travel throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Elson's established WA merchant base

• Hunt for new business and actively develop plumber engagement

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across WA

• Build relationships with plumbing merchants, plumbers and key contractors

• Increase product penetration and sales across merchant accounts

• Conduct regular customer visits throughout metropolitan and regional WA

• Present and promote Elson products and solutions

• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, trade days and industry events

• Conduct product presentations and trade training where required

• Monitor market activity and identify opportunities for growth

• Manage sales reporting, customer activity and spreadsheets

• Work autonomously from a Perth-based home office

• Report directly to the National Sales Manager

About You

We are looking for a true sales hunter — someone who is proactive, commercially driven and motivated by winning new business and achieving results.

You will have:

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the plumbing, building or merchant industry

• Existing relationships with plumbing merchants, plumbers and contractors

• A strong track record in new business development and account growth

• A proactive, determined and persistent approach to sales

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• The ability to identify opportunities and turn them into sales

• High levels of self-motivation, initiative and accountability

• The ability to work autonomously and manage your own territory

• Willingness to travel throughout metropolitan and regional WA

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Good computer skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook

• A current and valid driver's license
