About the role

As a Chef at Ninja Stadium, you will be the face behind the fabulous food delivered to our customers ensuring we meet and exceed expectations. You will be responsible for delivering continuity and consistency across the venue, with an ability to inject your flair into delivery and future menu design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook and serve food in accordance with menus, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation is achieved at all times according to agreed standards.
• Assist with the creation and development of menu concepts that strengthen CT business objectives.
• Stock management: stock ordering, stock control, stock rotation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant and applicable food safety standards, laws and legislation, including Responsible Service of Alcohol.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial kitchen environment, with experience in event, function, or high-volume catering operations desirable.
• Previous experience in a food service role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and can contribute effectively in a team environment.
• Calm manner and the ability to cope well a busy hospitality environment.
• Cert III or above in Commercial Cookery.
• Completion of Food Safety Supervisor Training.
• Current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (Employee/Volunteer registration), or willingness to acquire.
