HSE Advisor

Pilecom is a leading contractor delivering large scale renewable energy projects across Australia. We are looking for a proactive HSE Advisor to support our project teams and help maintain a strong safety culture across our operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on site, working closely with operational teams, and making a genuine difference to the safety and wellbeing of our people.
About the Role Reporting to the Senior HSE Advisor or HSE Manager, you will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and site personnel to promote safe work practices, ensure compliance and support continuous improvement across our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day to day HSE support to project teams
• Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace observations
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
• Facilitate site inductions and toolbox meetings
• Monitor compliance with legislation, client requirements and company procedures
• Support the development and review of SWMS, JHAs and risk assessments
• Maintain HSE records and reporting requirements
• Promote hazard reporting and positive safety behaviours
• Assist with emergency response planning and drills
• Build strong working relationships with employees, contractors and clients

About You
You are practical, approachable and passionate about creating safe workplaces. You enjoy working with people and can influence positive behaviours through coaching and support.
You will have:

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• Previous experience in construction, civil, mining or renewable energy projects
• Sound understanding of Australian WHS legislation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Willingness to work FIFO
