Salary: $75,000 to $78,000/annum plus super

Education: Minimum of Certificate 3 in commercial cookery or above.

Experience Required: Minimum of 12 months of experience in cooking Indian cuisine

KKN Foods Pty Ltd is a renowned Indian restaurant in Brisbane, QLD, known for its authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team on a full-time basis.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of Indian dishes to our customers. Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

- Preparing and cooking a range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, and biryanis, according to our recipes and standards.

- Ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner.

- Monitoring food stock levels and placing orders for ingredients as needed.

- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times.

- Complying with food safety and hygiene standards.

- Training and supervising junior kitchen staff.

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of Certificate 3 in commercial cookery and at least 12 months of experience in cooking Indian cuisine. You must also have a strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional dishes.
