About the role
UmamiPapi is one of Australia's fastest growing condiment brands, known for our delicious chilli oil and strong digital presence. Based in Cheltenham, we're a young, passionate team driven by innovation in the food and hospitality space.
Our mission is to enrich culinary experiences by crafting bold, new-age condiments that bring people together through flavour.
We operate from a bright, newly renovated warehouse in a thriving industrial hub, offering a positive, fast-paced work environment with room to grow.
We're looking for a reliable, full-time, casual staff member to join our production and packing team. You'll play a hands-on role in preparing ingredients, cooking, bottling, labelling, and dispatching orders.
You'll be working Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities for overtime and potential transition into a full-time role based on performance.
Prepping ingredients and blending herbs/spices
Cooking with hot oil (training provided)
Operating filling and labelling machinery
Packing orders for dispatch
Stock organisation and general housekeeping
Working in hot or cold environments when required
Hospitality or kitchen experience is essential
Previous food production or factory experience is a big plus
Forklift license is a bonus but not required
Strong attention to detail and fast, efficient work style
Positive attitude, accountability, and eagerness to learn
Minimum 6-12 months of hospitality or kitchen experience required
Candidates must have Australian work rights
Restaurant cooking, cafe/barista, fast food, or catering experience is acceptable
