The Sydney office continues to grow and works with a diverse client base including privately owned businesses, listed entities, not-for-profits, manufacturing, construction, technology, financial services and emerging growth companies.

The Role:
Lead and deliver audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of small, medium and large private clients, not-for-profits and corporate entities
Manage audits from planning through to completion while ensuring quality, efficiency and compliance standards are achieved
Prepare and review financial statements, audit workpapers and audit completion reports
Draft management letters and communicate findings and recommendations to clients
Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout engagements
Supervise, mentor and review the work of junior team members
Work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners on complex technical matters
Assist with due diligence, valuations and other advisory-based assignments where required
Identify opportunities for process improvements and value-added client service
About You:
4+ years' external audit experience within an Australian public practice firm
CA or CPA qualified
Strong understanding of Australian auditing and accounting standards
Experience managing audit engagements and client relationships
Previous exposure to a broad range of industries and entity types
Proficiency with CaseWare or similar audit software
Strong communication, report writing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to supervise and develop junior team members
Motivated, professional and seeking long-term career progression
