Qualifications & experience

• Civil / Structural Engineering Degree recognised by Engineers Australia

• Strong experience in Steel (Hot Rollerd / LGS) & Reinforced Concrete Design

• Proficient in relevant Australian Standards

• Essential knowledge of AS 3600 Concrete, AS 4100 Steel, AS 1170 Loading, and NCC/BCA standards is required

• 8+ years experience in Structural Consultancy

• Permanent Residents/ Australian Citizen

• Chartered or working toward chartership (highly regarded)

Tasks & responsibilities

• Lead structural design for residential, commercial, industrial & Mining projects

• Prepare and review engineering documentation, calculations, and reports

• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters

• Structural modelling and calculation

• Proficiency in SpaceGass / STAAD.Pro / ETABS & Inducta structural engineering software is required

• Delivering structural design documentation & package for Client's review, building license and construction

• Structural Inspection and Reporting

• Excellent engagement skills with both internal and external parties, i.e. Client liaison, managing Sub-consultants/ Contractors
