That’s Alotta Donuts is growing, and we’re looking for a qualified and experienced Baker to join our passionate team.

You will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting our range of donuts and specialty baked products to the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Full-Time/Part Time position

Hours: 10pm - 7am / 4am - 12pm

• Weigh, measure, mix and prepare ingredients for doughs, batters and other bakery

  products.

• Prepare, knead, cut and shape dough for donuts and other baked goods.

• Monitor proving and fermentation processes to achieve appropriate texture and quality.

• Operate ovens and other bakery equipment and monitor baking times and temperatures.

• Check the quality of raw ingredients and finished bakery products.

• Prepare specialty and customised donuts and baked goods for customer orders.

• Apply glazes, toppings and other finishes to bakery products where required.

• Maintain consistency, presentation and quality of finished products.

• Assist with the development of new bakery products and flavours.

• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace cleanliness standards.

• A relevant trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Baking.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant commercial bakery experience.

• Demonstrate experience preparing bakery goods from raw ingredients.

• Experience with yeast-raised dough and donut preparation.

• Experience operating dough sheeting and other commercial bakery equipment.

• Strong attention to detail, quality and presentation.

• The ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.

• Reliable and positive approach to working as part of a team.
