What you will be doing
You will work closely with site leadership, supervisors and operational crews to support safe, practical and compliant mining activities.
 
Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing practical HSE advice to operational teams
• Conducting workplace inspections, audits and field interactions
• Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
• Facilitating risk assessments and reviewing safe work procedures
• Monitoring compliance with site systems and legislative requirements
• Coaching supervisors and employees on safety expectations
• Reviewing trends and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Maintaining accurate HSE records, reports and action registers
• Supporting mobilisation, inductions and site safety initiatives

 
What you will bring

• Previous HSE Advisor experience within mining, civil construction or another heavy industry
• A relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety
• Working knowledge of WA safety legislation and mining environments
• Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The confidence to engage with personnel at every level of an operation
• A practical approach to balancing safety, compliance and production requirements
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• National Police Clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
• Availability to travel to WA mining operations as required

Incident investigation qualifications such as ICAM, together with Cert IV Training and Assessment or similar supporting qualifications, will be highly regarded.
