About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with excellent customer service skills to join our Sydney (Castle Hill) team. 

What You’ll Do:

• Own Your Day: Shape your schedule around client engagements, project scoping, and the delivery of multiple concurrent projects

• Lead with Expertise: Resolve complex technical challenges across diverse technologies while maintaining a personal, customer-first approach

• Drive Innovation: Play a pivotal role in pre-sales, technical project management, and hands-on delivery for our Managed Services clients

• Design & Deploy: Architect and implement infrastructure solutions that make a real difference for our clients

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Working with relevant stakeholders to design solutions using the IT&C product/service stack (Microsoft Cloud, Sophos, Datto, HPE, Aruba)

• Build project plans, manage and deliver projects

• Provide seamless project handovers and documentation to our BAU support team

• L3 escalations from our BAU support team

• Maintaining vendor certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Sophos, Datto - to name a few)

Required Skills/Experience

• Minimum 3 years recent hands-on experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) managing and delivering projects

• Proven experience migrating business systems to the Microsoft 365/Azure ecosystem

• Proven experience migrating business systems to on-premise Windows servers

• Microsoft Exchange/Intune/Defender design and deployment

• High-level understanding of Networking Technologies (DHCP/DNS/LAN/VLAN/WLAN/WAN)

• Experience managing office relocations and fit outs

• Strong documentation skills

• Ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders

• Experience with ConnectWise PSA/RMM preferred, or other PSA/RMM systems
   

Personal Attributes 

• A valid driver’s license and your own roadworthy vehicle

• Current Microsoft 365/Azure certifications - required

• Exceptional communication and proven stakeholder management experience

• Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills and strong project management discipline

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team

• Eager to continuously grow and improve technical skills

• Consistently presentable and punctual
