About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Business Services Officer to join our Governance Legal and Risk Services Team for a casual opportunity. This is a fantastic chance to play a key role in a high performing team that supports critical organisational functions.

In this role, you will work independently and proactively, deliver high quality, timely and comprehensive administrative and coordination support. You will be a trusted point of contact, contributing to the smooth operation of the team and supporting effective decision making.

Key responsibilities of the role will include the following:

• Coordinate diary management, scheduling meetings and support governance processes
• Preparing and coordinating reports, correspondence and other professional documentation
• Administer basic financial transactions
• Prioritise issues on behalf of management and team members
• Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and business practices

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• Proven senior administration experience within a large and complex organisation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Highly developed organisational and time-management skills with an ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver results
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Analytical skills, with the ability to source information and produce high quality documents and reports
• Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in identifying, initiating and supporting continuous business improvements

Pre-employment Checks
