Sales Consultant – Mining & Industrial

FY27 has kicked off with strong growth and major projects across the mining and industrial sectors. As we continue to deliver industry leading pumping, dewatering and fluid handling solutions, we’re growing our sales team with a Sales Consultant role dedicated to our mining and industrial customers across WA.

This is a hands-on, customer facing role. You’ll manage quotations, convert leads and build strong relationships with mining and industrial clients, working closely with our estimating, engineering and operations teams to deliver the right pump solution for every application. You won’t be required to lead a team; this role is about being on the ground with customers and building your own book of business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage inbound enquiries, quotations and tenders for mining and industrial clients across WA
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, including regular site visits
• Understand each client’s application and recommend the right packaged pump solution
• Work closely with our estimating, engineering and operations teams to deliver on customer commitments
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM and keep on top of your sales pipeline
• Represent Allied Pumps professionally at client sites, trade events and industry functions

What You’ll Bring

• Experience selling into the mining and industrial sectors, ideally in Western Australia
• A background with a packaged pump, dewatering or fluid handling solutions provider (distributor, rental or service business) is highly regarded over OEM-only equipment sales experience
• Comfortable working independently and building your own client relationships; no people leadership experience required
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to hold technical conversations with site and engineering contacts
• A proactive, solutions focused approach and a genuine interest in the pump industry
• Familiarity with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite
