Master Plumbers SA is the peak industry body representing the plumbing and gas fitting sector in South Australia. For more than 100 years, we have been supporting and advocating for the industry, promoting the highest standards of professionalism, compliance, and workmanship across the trade.

With over 500 member businesses, we provide industry leadership, training, advocacy, and support to ensure the continued success of the plumbing profession.

Through our Group Training Organisation, we employ plumbing apprentices and place them with quality host employers, providing valuable on-the-job experience while completing formal training. Our goal is to develop skilled, qualified plumbers who will become the future leaders of our industry.

The Role

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic plumbing apprentices who are eager to learn all aspects of the plumbing trade. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive ongoing support from both your dedicated Master Plumbers SA Field Officer and your host employer, ensuring you gain the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to build a successful career in the industry while working in a safe and supportive environment.

Skills/Requirements

• Motivation to become a qualified plumber

• A valid drivers licence

• White card

• A can-do attitude is a must

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends if/when required.

You’ll possess the following attributes:

• Be willing to take instructions from others and be able to work in a team as well as independently

• Have an aptitude for problem solving

• Have excellent interpersonal skills 

• Take pride in working accurately and neatly
