They are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Family Lawyer to join their Brisbane team. Under the mentorship of industry leaders, you will gain invaluable experience across all facets of family law. This role presents a unique opportunity for recent law graduates or early-career lawyers to fast-track their careers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior lawyers with a range of family law matters, including divorce, separation, child custody, property division, and spousal maintenance.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and draft correspondence.
• Attend client meetings, take instructions, and provide legal advice.
• Liaise with clients to keep them informed of the progress of their case.
• Assist with preparation for court appearances (as your experience grows).
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Skills and experience:

• Admitted to practice law in Queensland.
• Strong academic record in law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly motivated and results-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Empathy and understanding of the sensitivities involved in family law matters.
