Experienced NDIS Support Workers – Complex Support Environment
Parramatta Region, NSW

We are currently seeking experienced NDIS Support Workers to join a specialist support team providing 24/7 support within a complex support environment in the Parramatta region.
This is an opportunity to work within a highly structured and rewarding service alongside experienced colleagues and leadership who are committed to delivering high-quality supports and positive outcomes.
About the Role
Provide intensive 2:1 support within a highly complex support environment
Support a participant with significant behavioural, psychosocial and personal care support needs
Active overnight shifts as part of a 24/7 support model
Work alongside an experienced Shift Mentor and support team
Implement Behaviour Support Plans, Risk Management Plans and therapeutic interventions
Respond professionally to behaviours of concern using a calm and therapeutic approach
Deliver personal care and support with activities of daily living
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes and incident reporting
Adhere to strict infection control procedures and PPE requirements
Maintain consistency, professionalism and resilience in a dynamic support environment
About the Support Environment
This role involves supporting a participant with complex support needs in a highly specialised environment. Successful applicants must be comfortable:
Working within a high-intensity support setting
Managing behaviours of concern using therapeutic and person-centred approaches
Providing personal care and support with activities of daily living
Following strict infection control measures and PPE requirements
Working collaboratively within a structured 2:1 support model
Essential Requirements
Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a related field
Demonstrated experience supporting NDIS participants with complex needs
Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans and Positive Behaviour Support strategies
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
Ability to work active overnight shifts
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desirable
Experience within SIL, SDA, mental health, forensic or high-intensity support environments
Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern
Medication administration experience
Strong understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred practice
