Senior Project Manager – Civil Construction | Perth Metro

TEN Recruitment is partnering with a well-established WA civil contractor with more than 30 years of successful project delivery to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager.
  
With a strong pipeline of work across the Perth metropolitan area, this is an opportunity to join a stable contractor known for quality delivery, long-standing employees and projects the team is proud to put their name to.
  
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, or a high-performing Senior Project Engineer ready to step into Project Management with the support of an established team seeking long-term career stability.
  
Your Background

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years' experience across land development and subdivision projects
• Strong exposure to earthworks, underground services, drainage, pavements and roadworks
• Experience delivering projects of varying size and complexity
• Strong commercial understanding, including contracts, budgets, forecasting and cost control
• Excellent planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance
• Proven ability to lead engineers, supervisors and project teams

  
The Role

• Take ownership of projects from planning through to successful delivery
• Drive programme, budget, safety, quality and commercial outcomes
• Lead and support Project Engineers, Supervisors and site teams
• Coordinate project resources including plant, labour and subcontractors
• Monitor project costs, progress, forecasting and revenue against tender allowances
• Manage subcontractor performance and quality
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and relevant authority standards
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and governing authorities
• Identify project risks and resolve delivery issues before they impact programme or cost
• Support site teams to deliver works safely, efficiently and to a high standard
