About the Role

BRAMS is looking for a Workforce Development Coordinator to join our Business Services team. Reporting to the Business Services Executive Manager, you’ll lead the coordination and governance of workforce learning across BRAMS — ensuring all learning and development activities are planned, recorded and evaluated through the ELMO Learning Management System.

Working closely with the CEO, Executive Managers and Program Leads, you’ll drive implementation of the BRAMS Learning and Development Framework, making sure every staff member has a current Training Needs Analysis and Learning and Development Plan aligned to organisational priorities. You’ll also oversee clinical competency and credentialing programs, helping BRAMS meet its workforce governance, compliance and accreditation requirements while building a culture where learning and professional growth are part of everyday work.

What you’ll do:

• Lead organisation-wide implementation of the BRAMS Learning and Development Framework to strengthen workforce capability, compliance and cultural safety.
• Partner with Executive Managers to translate workforce development needs into practical, measurable learning strategies.
• Ensure all employees have an up-to-date Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and individual Learning and Development Plan.
• Use ELMO to manage, track and analyse organisational learning data, identifying trends, gaps and emerging workforce priorities.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Executive on workforce capability development and succession planning.
• Develop and coordinate an annual organisational training calendar covering mandatory, role-specific, cultural safety and elective learning across clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Plan and deliver internal programs such as toolbox sessions, in-services and workshops in collaboration with Executive Managers.
• Manage, configure and optimise the ELMO online learning platform as the single source of truth for workforce education, including designing and updating online learning modules.
• Coordinate organisation-wide orientation and induction programs for new employees in partnership with HR Business Partners and Executive Managers.
• Manage the Clinical Competency Program and credentialing processes, coordinating competency assessments and preparing scope of practice documentation.
• Provide assurance to the Clinical Governance and Credentialing Committees that credentialing and competency requirements meet governance, safety and accreditation standards.
• Lead learning evaluation and analytics, reporting quarterly to the CEO and Executive and contributing to Board reporting, accreditation evidence and compliance audits.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must address the following selection criteria in your cover letter:

Essential:

• Experience coordinating learning and development or workforce capability programs within a health, community or corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of training systems, workforce development and credentialing processes.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing training calendars, plans and evaluation tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• High-level organisational and time-management skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR or quality management systems.
• Understanding of the principles of Aboriginal community control and commitment to culturally safe practice.

Desirable:

• Qualifications in training and assessment, human resources, education, or organisational development.
• Experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled or not-for-profit organisations.
