Diesel Mechanic

RAM Equipment is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in Richmond, Adealdie, South Australia.

This is a primarily workshop-based role with occasional field service work, offering variety across a broad range of heavy machinery and equipment. Based in our Richmond workshop, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy diesel equipment

• Diagnosing faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Attending breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime

• Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

• Assisting with the commissioning and setup of new equipment

• Completing job cards, service reports, and maintenance documentation

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment

• Providing occasional field service support when required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Technician, or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years' industry experience preferred

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities

• Experience working on construction, earthmoving, mining, or industrial equipment (highly regarded)

• A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work

• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (minimum C Class)
