Located within the Manly Pacific precinct, Cibaria Manly is a vibrant multi-level Italian dining destination featuring multiple kitchens and culinary concepts, private dining spaces, an all-day Caffetteria and 55 North Bar.

Led by celebrated chef Alessandro Pavoni, our kitchen is built around exceptional produce, traditional Italian techniques and a genuine passion for food.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for talented casual chefs to join our team across a range of sections.

Whether your strength is pasta, pizza, pastry or working a busy hot section, this is an opportunity to become part of a large, energetic kitchen team with real opportunities to develop your skills and progress within Maestro Hospitality.

These positions will commence on a casual basis, with the potential to progress into full-time employment for the right candidates.

What We’re Looking For

• Full Australian working rights
• Relevant commercial cookery qualification and/or demonstrated commercial kitchen experience
• Approximately 1–3 years’ experience depending on the position
• Experience working with Italian cuisine highly regarded
• Strong understanding of food preparation, quality and kitchen organisation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• High standards of cleanliness, hygiene and professionalism
• Completion of Food Handler Basics Training
• Completion of All About Allergens training
• Flexibility to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends
• Highly Regarded Experience
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Fresh pasta production
• Wood-fired pizza preparation
• Pastry and dessert production
• Italian seafood preparation
• Experience working across hot section, grill or larder
• Previous experience in busy premium restaurants

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and present consistently high-quality dishes
• Take ownership of your section during preparation and service
• Follow recipes, portioning and presentation standards
• Maintain excellent food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
• Assist with stock rotation and waste minimisation
• Work closely with chefs across multiple kitchen sections
• Support junior team members where appropriate
• Contribute to smooth, efficient and professional services
• Bring energy, care and consistency to every shift
