Industrial Services Operator

VTG Waste & Recycling is looking for a motivated and safety-focused Industrial Services Operator to join our Darwin-based team.

This is a hands-on role working across a variety of industrial, commercial, marine and infrastructure sites, undertaking specialised cleaning and waste management activities.

Your primary duties will include:

• Confined space entry and cleaning.

• High-pressure water jetting.

• Industrial cleaning of tanks, pits, drains, sumps, vessels, plant and equipment.

• Vacuum loading and recovery of liquid, sludge and industrial waste.

• Setting up hoses, pumps, ventilation, water jetting and safety equipment.

• Conducting equipment pre-starts and inspections.

• Completing permits, Take 5s, JSAs and other safety documentation.

• Using gas detection, respiratory protection and other specialised PPE.

• Working closely with supervisors and crew members to complete jobs safely and efficiently.

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working in demanding industrial environments. Previous experience in industrial services, industrial cleaning, waste management, civil, mining or marine operations will be highly regarded.

Ideally, you'll have some of the following:

• Confined Space Entry.

• High-Pressure Water Jetting.

• Gas Test Atmospheres.

• Working Safely at Heights.

• Confined Space Rescue.

• Breathing Apparatus.

• First Aid/CPR.

• White Card.

• Current Australian driver's licence.

• HR or higher heavy vehicle licence (desirable)
