Customer Service & Sales Support

9:30am – 5:30pm | Monday to Friday

Gulf Western Oil is looking for a personable, switched-on team player to join our Customer Service & Sales Support team.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with our customers, Sales Representatives, drivers, warehouse and internal teams to keep orders, deliveries and customer enquiries running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who can multitask, use their initiative and get things done while providing excellent customer service.

 About the role

You'll be responsible for providing efficient and professional customer service and administrative support across the business. Your day will include:

• Answering incoming calls from customers and Sales Representatives

• Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally

• Supporting our Sales Team with orders and customer account enquiries

• Processing customer orders, invoices and delivery dockets accurately

• Coordinating third-party freight bookings and deliveries

• Matching driver paperwork and preparing daily delivery runs

• Invoicing driver runs and generating back-order reports

• Liaising with customers, drivers, freight providers and our warehouse team

• Maintaining accurate records, filing and documentation

• Monitoring freight and pallet allocations

• Juggling multiple priorities and using your initiative to keep things moving

About you

You'll be someone who is confident, personable and comfortable picking up the phone, with a positive attitude and a willingness to jump in and help.

 Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous customer service, administration or sales support experience

• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

• Strong multitasking and organisational skills

• The confidence to use your initiative and work independently

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience processing orders, invoices or customer documentation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook

• Confidence learning and using sales, ordering and CRM systems

• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• A genuine team-player attitude
