About the roleThe Volunteer Engagement (VE) Coordinator provides administrative, coordination and system support to enable effective and compliant volunteer engagement across BSL.The role supports the recruitment, screening, onboarding and ongoing coordination of volunteers, working closely with Volunteer Engagement Advisors, Coordinators and leaders of volunteers to apply consistent processes and practices. Through accurate data management and responsive support, the role contributes to a safe, well‑organised and positive volunteer experienceCoordinate volunteer recruitment, screening, onboarding and commencement processes in line with organisational proceduresMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date volunteer records in the volunteer management systemSupport the implementation of volunteer engagement priorities and work plans under the direction of the Volunteer Engagement LeadCoordinate compliance processes, including pre‑commencement checks, safeguarding requirements and expiry trackingConduct scheduled compliance audits and data integrity checks in line with established procedures
