The Role

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team based at our Arndell Park manufacturing plant.  This role is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader. 

You will be working on day shift supporting the team leader with the on-call roster on a rotational basis and working on the weekend as required.

Scheduled hours are between 6:00am-6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and planned maintenance on machinery and responding to breakdowns. 

• Welding and fabrication of new and existing projects

• Tool making, Die cleaning and trailing

• Fault finding 

• Machining of parts 

• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns

• Maintain high standards of workplace safety and housekeeping

The Individual

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)

• Experience in maintenance and/ or mechanical fault finding within manufacturing environment

• Machining experience 

• Fabrication & Welding experience

• Forklift license is desirable

• Electrical disconnect/reconnect (desirable)
