The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing FIFO employee to transition into an Environmental role and build a long-term career. This position is suited to someone with practical problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Previous mining or FIFO experience is highly regarded but not essential.
If you enjoy working outdoors, this role offers plenty of field-based work, including environmental monitoring and sampling, with excellent opportunities for development and career progression.
You’ll make a meaningful impact by supporting the Environment team to ensure the mine meets its environmental obligations.

What You’ll Do
Environmental monitoring, including collecting and sending water and soil samples Conduct environmental inspections and maintain records Use drones to capture imagery and assist with data collection Support waste management, fauna handling, and pastoral activities Suitable for hands-on operators
What You’ll Bring
Experience in fieldwork or mining operations Ability to work outdoors in remote conditions and varying weather A valid manual driver’s licence
