Medical Receptionist

Myhealth M-City is a busy full service medical centre located in the M-City Shopping centre in Clayton.

We have a large range of services here, including GP's, Optometry, Psychology, Dietitian, Podiatry, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Gastroenterology and Pathology.

We are seeking a casual Medical Receptionist for ongoing work at a busy medical centre in Clayton. Experience in Best Practice Software beneficial.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, highly motivated, have good initiative and can work in a faced paced and complex environment.

Our team are a tight knit, hardworking group of people looking for someone to help us on busy days and sick days with the potential for more permanent hours for the right person.

There is also the potential to pick up shifts at our sister clinics close by, there is never usually a shortage of work for a willing casual employee!

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Be able to cover shifts at short notice

• Answer and navigate complex phone calls

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to multitask under pressure

• Debt Recovery and taking payments

• Ability to follow instructions

• Dealing with confidential information

• Dealing with potentially difficult or highly emotional patients

• Promptly actioning doctors requests

• Cleaning and organizing

• Medicare and insurance claims

• Strong work ethics
