THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Financial Accountant at Sydney Tools, you'll combine technical excellence with commercial thinking to deliver accurate financial reporting, provide meaningful insights, and support strategic decision making across the business.

You'll work closely with operational leaders, executive stakeholders, and external partners while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen our national finance function.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for someone who is as commercially minded as they are technically capable to thrive in our fast moving retail environment.

Your credentials:

• CA or CPA qualification is essential.
• Proven experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role within a large, complex, or multi site retail/commercial organisation.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and a solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to translate complex financial data into practical business insights.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships across all levels of the Sydney Tools business.
• A proactive, adaptable, and solutions focused approach, with a passion for continuous improvement.
• A strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
