Administration Assistant

Canine Country is a locally owned, small manufacturing company with big ambitions in the fast growing raw pet food industry.   Established over ten years, Canine Country supplies mid-sized pet stores across Southeast QLD and as far as Alice Springs, NT.  We are a dedicated, hard working team of ten based in a modern gated complex in Yatala.   

About the Role 

In supporting the owners, the Administration Assistant ensures customer order processing and delivery is on time and completed accurately.  The role ensures the production team, our customers and suppliers are well supported with accurate information. 

Currently 8am - 12noon, M-F with onsite car parking.  This is an exciting opportunity with the potential for a part-time permanent role within a growing company.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Customer order processing and invoicing

• Customer service - main point of contact for customer enquiries and customer orders

• Production support - manufacturing lists

• Warehouse support - Distribution pick lists and inventory list management

• Timely communication with valued suppliers

• Social Media posting and responses

• Employment contracts, team member onboarding and HR policy updates

• Expense claims and expense management

• General administration, data entry, database management and preparation of reports

About You

With proven experience in administrative support together with a love of working in a small team, you are ideally ready for an immediate start.  With a highly organised approach to work, you are details focussed, tech savvy, proactive and able to pivot to new tasks as directed.  

To be successful, you will have:

• 1-2 yrs experience in administration support

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel

• Great at problem solving as necessary

• Ability to work autonomously and  as part of a team

• Strong written and verbal communication
