Storeperson / Dispatch

Absco Sheds is looking for a motivated, hardworking and experienced Storeperson to join our team as the business continues to grow and develop. Absco Sheds is a family owned, well established manufacturing company based in Brisbane looking to hire today!

Under the direction of the Dispatch Manager, the successful candidate will perform allocated duties as required. All duties will be in accordance with production schedules and timelines to ensure customer orders are processed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Picking, Packing, checking and dispatching goods for daily collection

• Unloading and receiving goods from transport and couriers

• Reliability and 5 days attendance

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

• Complying with WHS and other company policies and procedures

• Stock counting and picking

• General Warehouse duties

Key to your success in this role:

• An ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment and prioritise tasks as required

• Previous warehouse / dispatch experience

• Forklift ticket

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Excellent work ethic

• High attention to detail

• Reliable and punctual

Applicants may be required to undertake a physical examination as part of the recruitment process as this position does require heavy lifting and physical labour.

2 month casual probation period

Full time - Day shift 40 hours plus overtime with weekly bonuses and yearly bonuses included.
