About the Role

St Andrew's Anglican College is seeking a passionate, values-driven English teacher to join our Secondary School on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term basis, commencing at the start of the 2027 academic year.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled English teacher who can:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality English curriculum in line with the Australian Curriculum/QCAA syllabus requirements
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement
• Contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the College through camp attendance and co-curricular activities involvement
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues

About You

• Current (or eligible for) registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, with English as a specialist teaching area
• A genuine commitment to student-centred learning and pastoral care
• Willingness to contribute to co-curricular programs and the camp program (sport, music, or other activities)
