Platform Service Owner

About the role

As a Platform Service Owner, you will make an impact by owning the end-to-end operational management, stability, support, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise Testing Tools, Quality Engineering Platforms (QEP), Data, and AI services. You will be a valued member of the Platform Operations team and work collaboratively with engineering, governance and risk teams, and business stakeholders to keep services reliable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Own end-to-end operational management and run support of Testing Tools, QEP, Data, and AI platforms, ensuring availability, reliability, performance, and SLA compliance across all supported services.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for incidents and major service disruptions, leading incident, problem, and root cause analysis processes through to corrective and preventative action.
• Drive governance, risk, security, audit, and compliance requirements, including patching and change management, while representing supported platforms through CAB and release governance processes.
• Monitor platform health and service metrics, deliver regular operational reporting and executive updates, and identify and implement automation and service improvement opportunities.
• Support onboarding of new teams, tools, and capabilities; maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles; and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all supported platforms.

What you need to have to be considered

• Solid grounding in IT Service Management (ITIL) practices, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management
• Demonstrated ability managing Data Platforms, Testing Tools, Quality Engineering platforms, AI services, DevOps, and cloud-based technologies
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and financial management capabilities
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills
• A track record of driving operational excellence, platform modernization, and automation initiatives
