About the role
Position Summary
The Associate Lecturer / Lecturer (Education Focussed) contributes to educational excellence in Pharmacology through the delivery of high-quality, engaging teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This is a hands-on teaching role, and the successful candidate will bring practical experience in pharmacology teaching, alongside a strong commitment to student learning and educational excellence.
At Level A (Associate Lecturer), the role delivers classes, assesses student learning and supports the development of learning activities, resources and assessments with guidance from senior academics. The position also supports student progression and contributes to course administration, academic quality assurance and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
At Level B (Lecturer), the role operates with greater independence in the design and delivery of teaching, assessment and learning activities. The position manages course administration as Course Authority, contributes to the development of innovative teaching approaches and plays an active role in strengthening teaching quality and the student learning experience across the School.
