Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter looking for a secure, long-term role with a respected food manufacturer?
  
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a successful and growing FMCG business. Working within a modern production environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
• Complete routine inspections and maintenance schedules
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning projects
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter
• Previous experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar production environment
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
