ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Event Coordinator to support the production team. This is an entry level position, where you will work closely with our Group Account Directors & Producers across major activations. 

This is a hands-on role where you will be working in a fast-paced team to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard. You have a can-do attitude, a decisive mind, and outstanding attention to detail. You will be working within a dynamic production team and required to maintain the high standard of delivery that Studio Messa is known for.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Assist in aspects of production as specified by the Producer on the event

• Create, manage and review event schedules

• Respond to all client & supplier enquiries professionally and within the agreed time frames 

• Assist project leads to manage the budget and process purchase orders and invoices 

• Understanding & ability to brief build, technical, print and production suppliers

• Participate in creative brainstorm meetings and contribute to creative ideation, particularly representing an on-the-ground perspective

• High level of attention to detail

• Handle administrative duties including storage, logistics, expense reports, invoicing, and working with the legal department on contracts

• Assisting in the writing of reverse briefs, proposals and debriefs

• Venue research and booking

• Attend client meetings as required

• Assist in development and maintenance of supplier relationships

Preferred qualifications

We’re after a confident Event Coordinator who is enthusiastic, proactive and has high attention to detail. Someone who is able to deliver activations and events to the high standard that Studio Messa holds.

You need to be driven, able to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to work alongside and in conjunction with an ever growing team.

Team player is a must.

• 1+ years of experience in the event production or hospitality industry

• Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time 

• Tertiary qualification in Event Management or a related field

• Excellent attention to detail is a must

• Can work well and deliver under pressure; effectively manage competing priorities

• Able to communicate with partners, brands, agencies, and talent

• Is prepared to travel and work outside business hours as required

• Knowledge of Google Suite

• Desire to learn and grow professionally
