Registered Nurse – General Practice

Forward Medical GP Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our friendly medical team.

This is a casual position of approximately 16 hours per week, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and supporting the GPs and practice team.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience working with patients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
• Current CPR certification
• Current Police Clearance
• A commitment to providing quality patient care

Key responsibilities

The role will include:

• Administering childhood immunisations
• Performing ear syringing and ECGs, and assisting with minor procedures
• Undertaking care plans and health assessments
• Supporting patients with chronic health conditions
• Performing wound management procedures
• Assisting GPs with minor surgical procedures
• Managing the practice reminder and recall system
• Managing and maintaining treatment room supplies
