What you'll do:Lead and develop a team of 5 across Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services and fostering a high-performance cultureOversee all day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, policies, and internal controlsEnsure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and funding obligations while maintaining robust governance and risk management frameworksSupport the General Manager, Corporate Services in driving key projects, process improvements, and system enhancements, working closely with stakeholders across the organisationPartner with business leaders to provide strategic financial advice, insights, and analysis that support informed decision-making and alignment with organisational objectives

What you'll bring:A minimum of 5 + years’ experience in a similar leadership roleA relevant tertiary qualification, together with CPA or CA accreditation, is essentialIn-depth knowledge of accounting standards and statutory obligationsNot for Profit sector experience is highly desirableStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsProven leadership with experience building high-performing teamsA strong commitment to continuous improvement and driving efficiencies
