About the team

The Office of Philanthropy & Community Investment (PCI) leads all fundraising and philanthropic activity for the Women's, sourcing and managing support across a diverse range of channels including individual and major donors, bequests, philanthropic trusts and foundations, corporate and community partnerships, and community fundraising. Our team brings together fundraising, communications and stakeholder engagement expertise to build lasting relationships with donors and partners who share our commitment to women's and newborn health.

About the role

As an Fundraising Managaer you will play a key role in shaping how our donors experience their journey at the Women's. It leads the management, performance and optimisation of our Donor Experience programs, driving growth, acquisition, retention, reactivation and upgrade activity across our donor communities.You'll take the lead in growing programs including Digital Regular Giving, Grateful Giving, Community Fundraising and NICU Warriors, bringing curiosity and creativity to how we test, refine and improve the journey for our donors.

It's a role for someone who loves a challenge as much as a good relationship and who can think strategically about growth while never losing sight of the person behind every gift.

A regular day will see you:

• Checking in on donor communities - looking at how Donor Experience programs are performing, receiving and responding to donor feedback firsthand, testing new ideas to keep improving the experience for our supporters.
• Connecting with the team - catching up with the Fundraising Coordinator on NICU Warriors, Community Fundraising and other programs, offering encouragement, coaching and a hand where it's needed.
• Bringing people together - working with colleagues across PCI, Communications, Clinical teams and Research to spot new opportunities, share stories and deepen connections between staff and donors.
• Keeping an eye on the numbers that matter - monitoring how Regular Giving is tracking against budget and targets, working with our supplier to ensure the program is continually optimised for success.

About you

You blend strategic, data-informed thinking with genuine warmth, you get energised by thinking outside the box and testing new ideas, but never lose sight of the person on the other end of every donor interaction. You're a natural collaborator who empowers those around them and a leader who does the work with the team.

You'll bring with you:

• Demonstrated experience leading multi-channel fundraising programs including acquisition, retention, reactivation and upgrade strategies with a focus on building donor communities.
• A strategic mindset with strong analytical skills and experience using data and insights to inform program development and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience with CRM, marketing automation and fundraising platforms, with the ability to work collaboratively to optimise systems for growth and efficiency.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and building high-performing teams.
• Extensive experience in stakeholder management, working across internal teams and external suppliers to deliver aligned outcomes.
