About the role

Join our vibrant culinary team aboard our fleet of cruises, overseeing culinary operations under the guidance of our Head Chefs. As a culinary expert with a flair for Modern Australian and Western cuisine, you will be part of a dynamic kitchen environment delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the preparation and design of all food menus, ensuring high-quality plates that delight our guests

• Oversee section in kitchen operations, maintaining exceptional standards in taste, presentation, and timeliness of your section

• Manage and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

• Collaborate with the team to deliver a seamless dining experience for our customers

About you

• Minimum 2+ years experience as a strong Chef

• Proven skills in Modern Australian, Western, and Indian cuisine (Indian cuisine experience is preferred)

• Food Safety Knowledge (FSS Certification preferred)

• Cert IV in cookery or related certificate preferred

• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen management

• Creative leader with a track record of excellence and a commitment to quality

• Permanent resident or Australian Citizen
