Role Description The Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a full-time hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for part-time work from home. In this role, the analyst will support the assessment and improvement of business processes, gather and document business requirements, and assist in analyzing data related to customer bookings and operator performance. Day-to-day tasks include preparing reports, mapping workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline operations, and collaborating with stakeholders to clarify needs and priorities. The analyst will help translate business challenges into actionable insights, support the development of new features for the platform, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to learn from experienced team members and build foundational skills in business analysis within a growing, technology-enabled service environment.QualificationsStrong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.Foundational Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills, including gathering, documenting, and validating requirements.Understanding of Business Process design and improvement, with interest in workflow mapping and process optimization.Effective Communication skills, including clear written documentation and collaborative communication with diverse stakeholders.Relevant tertiary qualification or coursework in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools; familiarity with reporting or BI tools is an advantage.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.Interest in technology platforms, logistics, or field services; prior exposure to dispatch, operations, or service coordination is beneficial.
