Senior Business Analyst - Banking

Ultradata – A long-established business with 48 years of experience and a trusted technology business partner to significant financial institutions across the Australian and Asia Pacific financial services market.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to assist clients in optimising their implementation and usage of our Core Banking System (Ultracs).

• Evaluate client practices and recommend improvements
• Conduct business process reviews and produce clear requirement specs
• Proactively triage and/or support post-implementation project cases

• Deliver engaging training sessions (group and 1:1) for clients and staff
• Design and develop reusable training programs and digital content
• Continuously improve course materials based on feedback

• Manage client tasks via JIRA and ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and maintain client communication

• Assist with product demonstrations and internal projects
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to strategic planning

• Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or IT
• 4+ years’ experience with Australian Retail Core Banking systems
• Strong background in Retail Banking or Credit Union or Financial Institution environments
• Experience with UniVerse/PICK environments (highly desirable)
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (preferred)
