Cosmetic Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cosmetic Nurse to join the team at Saje Beauty Aesthetics in our beautiful new Clinic, located in East Maitland, NSW. This is a part-time position offering flexibility whilst delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic aesthetic clinic environment. As a Cosmetic Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our aesthetic practitioners and ensuring patients receive outstanding care throughout their cosmetic treatment journey. Your expertise and professionalism will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence and patient satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Performing a range of cosmetic procedures, including injectables, dermal fillers, and other non-invasive treatments

• Preparing treatment areas, sterilising equipment, and maintaining strict infection control and safety standards

• Conducting thorough patient consultations and assessments to understand treatment goals and medical history

• Providing pre-treatment and post-treatment care advice to patients, ensuring they understand aftercare requirements

• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records and documentation

• Managing patient queries and concerns with professionalism and empathy

• Supporting the clinic with general administrative tasks and maintaining a clean, welcoming treatment environment

• Staying current with industry best practices and undertaking relevant professional development

What we're looking for

• Current AHPRA registered nurse with no restrictions and recognised cosmetics certification

• experience working in a cosmetic nursing, minimum 12 months preferred

• Strong knowledge of cosmetic procedures, injectables, and aesthetic treatments

• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to patient care

• Meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards

• Ability to work collaboratively with aesthetic practitioners and clinic staff in a fast-paced environment

• Professional appearance and demeanour aligned with aesthetic industry standards

• Sound organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently

• Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Desirable: Additional qualifications or certifications in aesthetic nursing or cosmetic procedures
