With further development a priority, we are seeking a further 4 Jumbo Operators. In the position you will play a critical role in being responsible for the safe and productive operation of a Sandvik DT422i Jumbo for the purpose of underground mine development.

What we require from you:

• A strong attitude and commitment to workplace health and safety

• Minimum 2 year's experience operating a Jumbo

• Technical capability to operate a Sandvik DT422i jumbo with high accuracy and efficiency

• Experience installing split-sets and MD Bolts with mesh

• Ability to read ground conditions and where required incorporate additional ground support and make decisions on drilling patterns that improve ground profile.

About Us

Tomingley Gold Mine, owned and operated by Alkane Resources Ltd, is located adjacent to the village of Tomingley, 50 kms south of Dubbo in Central NSW.  The current workforce consists of approximately 300 permanent employees in professional, technical, mining, processing and trades roles. 

The development of an additional open cut mine and further development to our Underground Operation have commenced. With this exciting expansion, there is an expected mine life beyond 2032.
