Freedom Fuels is looking for a Site Manager in the Lockyer Valley region to lead the day-to-day operation of one of our retail sites and create a place where customers want to stop, refuel, recharge and come back again.
This is a genuine hands-on leadership role. You’ll take ownership of your site, your team, the customer experience and its commercial performance — balancing people leadership with the practical realities of running a fast-paced fuel, convenience and food retail operation.

What you’ll do
Take ownership of the day-to-day operation and performance of your site across fuel, convenience and food
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, creating a positive, accountable and engaged culture
Manage rosters, staffing and day-to-day priorities to make sure the site runs smoothly
Deliver a consistently great customer experience and set the standard for your team
Drive sales and identify opportunities to grow your site's fuel, convenience and food performance
Manage stock, labour, wastage, expenses and operational standards with a strong commercial mindset
Maintain high standards across the store, forecourt and food preparation areas
Champion safety, compliance and food safety, ensuring risks are identified and acted on
Handle customer feedback and operational challenges confidently and practically
Look for smarter ways of working and opportunities to make your site even better
The PD places particular emphasis on recruiting and developing the team, managing rosters, driving sales, controlling costs and taking action to deliver results.
What you'll bring
Experience leading a team in retail, convenience, food or fuel
Proven ability to manage people and deliver strong operational and commercial results
A practical, hands-on leadership style — you're happy to jump in when your team needs you
Confidence managing competing priorities in a busy customer-facing environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to coach, motivate and hold people accountable
A commercial mindset with an eye for sales, costs and opportunities to improve performance
A strong commitment to safety, compliance, cleanliness and quality
A positive, energetic and approachable style
Food service experience is highly regarded, but not essential if you're willing to learn
