Do You Have Time for a Cuppa and a Chat? –Aged care Volunteer Needed!

Are you friendly, caring and reliable, and enjoy connecting with others?

We are looking for a compassionate volunteer to provide **companionship and social connection for older recipients**.

This is a wonderful opportunity to build a genuine friendship through regular visits, conversation and shared interests. Visits may include:

- Having a coffee and a chat
- Sharing stories and life experiences
- Enjoying relaxed conversations about everyday life
- Spending time together and enjoying shared interests

### **About You**

No previous volunteering experience is required. We are looking for someone who is:

- Patient, respectful and caring
- Reliable and committed
- A good listener who enjoys conversation
- Genuinely interested in spending time with older people
- Able to commit around **one hour each week or fortnight**

### **Support and Training**

All volunteers are required to undergo a **National Police Check**. You will receive ongoing support, guidance and training from your **ACVVS Program Coordinator**.

Volunteers are required to visit once per fortnight (although we prefer weekly where possible), duration of visit is up to you. We require a commitment of minimum 6 months - 12 months or longer.
