We're now looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Cook/Kitchen Hand - Part Time to join our team and help deliver exceptional food experiences for our guests and community member.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the preparation and cooking of menu items in accordance with established recipes, ensuring consistent quality, taste and presentation.

• Supporting the day-to-day kitchen operations and assisting with food preparation across breakfast, café and event offerings.

• Washing dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment, ensuring all items are cleaned, sanitised and stored appropriately.

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation in accordance with food safety regulations.

• Assisting with stock control, deliveries and storage of food supplies.

• Working collaboratively with the wider team to create a welcoming and engaging guest experience.

• Supporting kitchen setup, pack-down and general kitchen hand duties as required.
  

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

• A sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• A positive attitude and willingness to assist across a variety of kitchen duties.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
