Role Description The Display Home Host is a part-time, on-site role based in the Ballarat Area. In this position, the host welcomes visitors to display homes, provides friendly and professional first impressions, and answers general questions about home designs, inclusions, and the building process. The role involves maintaining a clean and inviting presentation of the display home, managing visitor registration, and collecting contact details for follow-up by the sales team. The host may also support basic administrative tasks, such as updating brochures, restocking marketing materials, and communicating visitor feedback to the wider team. Weekend and holiday work may be required in line with display home opening hours.
QualificationsStrong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills suited for engaging with visitors in person.Effective verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain information clearly and respond to queries with confidence.Professional presentation, reliability, and a welcoming demeanor appropriate for representing a residential building brand.Basic administrative and organizational skills, such as managing visitor logs, handling brochures, and keeping spaces tidy.Ability to work independently on-site, manage time effectively, and follow established procedures and safety guidelines.Prior experience in real estate, retail, hospitality, or front-of-house roles is beneficial but not essential.Comfort using basic digital tools (email, online forms, CRM or lead capture systems) to record visitor information.
