Inspector

The Role

We are expanding our team and seeking skilled and certified AICIP/API Inspectors to join our dynamic team on a Permanent Full-Time basis located in regional Smithfield, NSW. 

This role will see you responsible for performing inspections on pressure equipment and piping systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing in-service inspection of pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping and storage tanks
• Preparing reports for the inspections performed on such equipment to the applicable client requirements
• Assess corrosion rates, equipment condition and remaining service life
• Ability to work independently and travel to site when required
• Excellent attention to detail and safety-first mindset

The successful applicant will ideally have

• Valid API653 qualifications OR AICIP Plant Inspector equivilent qualifications 
• API510 and API570 highly regarded 
• Excellent reporting, communication and problem solving skills
• Strong understanding of pressure vessels, piping and storage tank compliance requirements
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen
