Accounts Receivable & Accounts Support

20–38 hours per week | Flexible for the right person | Immediate start available

We are looking for a friendly and organised Accounts Receivable & Accounts Support person to join our administration and accounts team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience in accounts receivable, debtors or accounts administration who is comfortable speaking with customers regarding outstanding accounts.

We are open to both part-time and full-time applicants. Hours can be tailored depending on the skills, experience and availability of the successful applicant.

What You'll Be Doing

• Following up overdue and outstanding customer accounts

• Speaking with customers by phone and email regarding payment

• Sending statements, invoice copies and account information

• Recording follow-up notes and payment commitments

• Allocating and reconciling customer payments

• Investigating account discrepancies and payment queries

• Monitoring accounts and identifying anything requiring further attention

• Assisting with new account applications and account setup

• Assisting with cash and account reconciliations

• Assisting with supplier purchase invoice entry and Accounts Payable support when required

• Helping across the accounts and administration team when needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, debtors, accounts administration or a similar role

• Confident and professional when communicating with customers

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organisation and follow-through

• Comfortable asking questions and investigating issues when something doesn’t look right

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Experience using accounting, ERP or business software

• Reliable, practical and happy to work as part of a team
